The Angel of the Lights
The detailed form of an angel appearing in the green northern lights (Aurora borealis) over Budir Black Church and grounds on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula of Iceland during an internationally-recognized unique increase in Aurora activity, 9/28/16.
She flies to the right across the night sky, with her face closest towards the upper right corner of the image, hair flying backwards and details of her face clearly visible with eyes, nose, mouth and more. Her wings open behind her, where the Aurora displays more white in the image with more intense displays of Aurora light being present in those areas. Beams of Aurora light extend away from her across the night sky where she flies.
This image is completely natural, as it was photographed that night, not altered or changed in any way to make her appear. She is shown here as she appeared that night in the sky, only with contrast adjusted and other minimal lighting settings adjusting during photo processing in Lightroom software to bring this image to a perfect display of the real northern lights that were visible in the sky that night.
